The BIG chop!

So my sister and my mom are both natural.  I didn't have any interest in going natural.  There were so many reasons why I didn't want to before like fear, what others would think, and fear...ha!  Well, one day I just decided to go for it!  My husband is a HUGE fan of me having short hair and an even bigger fan of me having natural hair.  More specifically, he wants me to 'loc' my hair like my beautiful mom and sister below:).

So, here I go!  I've done it!  I've gone natural and I now have a TWA (teeny weeny afro).  It's been such a liberating process and I'm glad I did it.  No more relaxers in my hair!  I just get up, wet my fro, spray on some  leave in conditioner, add a little loc cream for shine and I'm done!  So from now on I will be documenting this journey here on my blog.  If you're interested follow along:).
